The ZF 8HP70 transmission delivers lightning-fast 200ms shift times, lightweight internals, and a wide 7.0:1 gear spread, providing dual-clutch-like responsiveness with the refinement of a modern automatic. In operating conditions with high temperatures and loads, or with unknown vehicle us in the past, it can make sense to change the transmission oil at shorter intervals.
