We ship all crate engines via LTL Carrier.

If lift gate service is necessary for delivery, please request this at the time of order.

The lift gate service is not a front door delivery, but considered curbside service.
For Residential delivery, we request the Carrier call to arrange for a delivery time.
For Business deliveries, the Carrier will deliver Monday-Friday and will typically not call ahead to schedule a delivery appointment. If you need a special arrangement for delivery, please inform your BluePrint Sales Team member at the time of purchase.
If you need any other assistance, please contact our Customer Support Team at Orders@BluePrintEngines.com.

No, the engine is drained of oil and water after dyno testing and then the engine is approved and prepared for shipping.

There may be residual oil that drains down and settles in the oil pan. Oil may be green or off-colored due to the oil dye added when dyno testing.

We offer break-in oil, service oil, coolant, and other fluids for our engines that are available online.

No, using our automotive BluePrint Engines in anything besides an automotive application voids the engines warranty and the internals are not meant for boat applications.

Both timing and carburetor need to be checked and tuned in case anything was bumped or moved during shipping.
Each BluePrint engine is dyno tested with that exact carburetor that is installed and timing would have been set here to make the dyno pulls. We do not fine tune the carburetors from Holley. Tuning of the carb for idle mixture adjustments, float levels, jet changes, or other necessary tuning is required by the installer or owner. Do not assume fully dressed engine's are "turn key ready". Read the install guide and follow each step in full detail.

Please refrain from using any synthetic or synthetic blended oil until after 9,000 miles with your BluePrint Engines.

BluePrint Engines does not find the use of synthetic oils to be necessary, or beneficial. If you must run synthetic, it is only advised after 9,000 miles and only on roller cam engines. Synthetic oils by composition are thin, and “slicker” than fossil oils. They tend to increase leaks and can promote improper break-in. Please take this into consideration before changing to a synthetic oil.

Unless your engine is one of the power adder versions, we do not recommend adding any type of boost.

Engine's not built as power adder editions are not meant for boost, nitrous, Prochargers, or superchargers. Adding any type of boost application to a non-power adder engine voids the engine's warranty. Only these engine part numbers below can handle boost:
